Thank you. I have a different pop-out lock lever on my Snug Top from ~ 2020 (previous to Snug Top being bought). It's new old stock that I just purchased from and was installed by a Snug Top dealer. 19 times out of 20 it wouldn't press in the last 1/8" or so to catch & lock. Your repair video inspired me to take mine apart to see what I might be able to do. Hoping this could help others, here's what I found that fixed it. The large push-out spring was installed backwards. It's a truncated cone. The smaller end needs to face rearward, so that it stays centered on the small thrust washer on the square shaft. The other larger end faces frontward, and rides on the large, full diameter washer in the cylinder that has the ears that attach to the latching rods. Front and rear here are with respect to the front and rear of the pickup truck. Apparently the spring had been canting a bit and binding on the c-clip. Someone at the Snug Top factory who installed my latch assembled that one component backwards. It seems likely to have been done to other's canopies too. Thanks again for your video.

I've been researching on how to replace my current converter charger ( since it can't charge Lithium Batteries) with another device that can. I have just finished watching all 5 parts of the videos (since I was reviewing them from the middle) ....Now I see what you had done..I was wondering 'How' to plug in the converter charger with a plug... Now I see what you had done from start to the end...I want to say 'Thank you' for the idea....I sure didn't want to replace the entire panel, just the converter charger. WFCO has a unit with Auto detect but I seen to many negatives comments about it in which Auto detect doesn't work unless you fully drain your Lithium Batteries and then it tends to go back to Lead acid settings...That doesn't make sense at all...I'm leaning on going your route....Thanks and I hope you are doing OK.....Take care..

I feel like a complete idiot but how do you manage a controlled descent with ratcheting straps. once you release they would drop like a rock? Maybe two straps on the rear? Have one a little loose then release the one holding the weight and switch that up until you get down to where you need???

I know what you are going through. I bought a 1997 Damon Day 53 chassis with power problems. I picked it up and drove it to a Cerified Ford Truck Garage in Appleton, Wi. They called and said fixed. Drove it 40 miles and it started losing power. I called them up and them up and they said they charged me for what they done. So , I ordered an a ECM from Auto Zone and put ignition module on it. So, I nurse it home and put a fuel pressure guage on it and in 5 min the fuel pressure dropped. I ordered a ford oem fuel pump and took to my garage and had them install it.I told them to check the tank for dirt. They said they didn't see any. Picked it up and about 90 miles and the same thing. So, I found a heavy-duty truck garage in Watertown W,i close. They went through everything and found out the fuel pump sock was full of dirt. They sent it out and had the tank flushed. Had to put another pump in because they did not trust the strain this pump had on it. About 1,000 mi later had some issues with loss of power again. They found the EGR valve open. Fixed it and they tested the the pump and again the sock was full of rust. They found out that the welded seam along the tank had rust in it. They said a new tan installed 1800 and it would be aluminum. So, make sure your tank is clean.

I would like to know about the fuel line that goes to the gen is it a open line or a check valve in the line or anything that could stop the fuel from going to the gen ????
